S1E1 Darkness

A lifeless body is discovered at the boundary stone along the Austro-German border, positioned as if for some ancient ritual. Soon after, the unlikely investigative pair of Austrian police inspector Gedeon Winter and German commissioner Ellie Stocker come together to tackle the case. The murderer has sent chilling audio messages to the press. Disturbing recordings of the victim made prior to her death, along with the complex details surrounding the crime, lead the detectives to believe that this murder is just the start of a larger, more sinister plot.
