Angela’s Shadow (2024)
Angela and Henry, an expectant couple from Ottawa, head north to the Cree community of KiiWeeTin to see Mary, Angela's cherished childhood caregiver. After a threatening shadow figure begins targeting Angela, Mary uses forbidden Cree rituals and remedies to shield her and her baby. As Angela uncovers the truth about her heritage and the spirit's identity, she must embrace these newly discovered traditions to protect herself from Henry's growing, purity-fixated racism.
