To Kill a Mastermind (1979)
The Chi Sha Clan is a sprawling underworld network of highly skilled assassins and criminals. As their ranks swell at an alarming pace, the Imperial Court tasks Yang Chen-yu and his allies with wiping them out. Yet the mission is fraught with difficulty, since the identity of the Chi Sha's mastermind remains a mystery—even to the clan's own members. Spies are planted within the organization to bring it down from the inside. But with no one certain who the spies are, a series of ambushes and security breaches leaves the clan's deputies eyeing one another as possible traitors. As the Chi Sha's numbers shrink, it is only a matter of time before the mastermind is forced to step forward.
